Smuttynose IPA

Definitely my staple single IPA. Just great all around. On a hot day, on a cool night, mowing the lawn, sitting on the porch.. a very solid beer.

I’m really beginning to feel like I’m in a lul with these mmm…beer posts. Each shot is a bottle with the glass. I try to portray how I’m enjoying the beer, but sometimes it’s difficult. Especially when I’m always in my apartment drinking it. I was at Chuck’s house, and we were playing playstation at time of consumption. I wanted to get a picture of the beer, but it was very dark, and even at ISO 2000 and f/1.8 I still had a 1″ shutter speed to handhold. I made him pause the game, and I stuck the glass in front of the projector. This gave me the shutter speeds I needed. I was pretty happy to finally have a variation of the typical beer shot, too.
